Family visitors to Dubai will now be able to take two children under 16 on Emirates Airlines for free.

Parents who take their children in summer to Dubai will be able to claim free flights, free meals, hotel stays and entrances to attractions.

The Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce hopes to meet ambitious targets over the summer with deals for average families.

For instance, from May, a family of from the UK will be able to save as much as £3,000 by taking advantage of the offer in the traditionally slow summer months, when the weather is too hot for many overseas travellers.

The campaign will run from May 14th and last for five months.

Passengers aged 12 or over normally pay adult air fares with Emirates, while children aged under 12 are charged 75 per cent of the fare.
