50 Cent laughs off internet sex tape lawsuit

    (IANS)

Rapper 50 Cent has laughed off the lawsuit filed by a woman who claims he edited himself in the spoof version of a sex tape she recorded in 2008 and then uploaded it online.

Lastonia Leviston, an ex-girlfriend of rapper Rick Ross, has filed the papers in the New York Supreme Court.

In the lawsuit, she slaimed that 50 Cent blurred out her then-lover Maurice Murray's face and altered the tape to depict himself as his online character Pimpin' Curly wearing a curly wig and blue robe, while adding his own narration.

She wants compensation for the unauthorised use of her name or image as well as emotional distress caused by the public release of the clip.

50 Cent has laughed off the legal threat insisting Leviston should be looking to punish Ross instead for allegedly referring to her as a 'call girl' in his music, reports dailystar.co.uk.

'That wasn't me, that was Pimpin' Curly!' he said.

'A person tries to say you've done mental harm to them, then they may want to consider the recordings of Rick Ross saying that she's an actual call girl... So how distraught is she that a tape went out?' he added.
