Andy Garcia walked off when asked to strip
    London Mercury
    Monday 22nd March, 2010
    (IANS)

'Ocean's Eleven' actor Andy Garcia walked out of an audition when he was asked to remove his shirt by a female casting director.

'She asked me to take my shirt off and I said, 'You first!' and then I walked out,' contactmusic.com quoted him as saying.

'It was for one of those silly television shows where they say, 'We're looking for someone who's really well built, will you take your shirt off?'

'She kind of looked at me, 'How dare you say that to me? I'm the casting director!' It didn't go much further than that. I never took my shirt off nor did I get the part.'

Garcia is happy to note that the woman who asked him to go topless is no longer in the business.
