Posh gets 'rival' Kate Price banned from Vanity Fair bash

Victoria Beckham tried to stop Kate Price from attending Vanity Fair party by telling organizers she would skip the bash if the reality star was permitted entry, sources say.

The former Spice Girl reportedly called the Sunset Tower Hotel to stop the hottie from letting in.

The singer apparently described Price, who wore an OTT sequin dress, as looking like a "Christmas tree from a trailer park".

The two had reportedly involved in a row at Elton John's birthday part last year.

"Because the Vanity Fair party was all about fashion, Victoria knew she could call some shots," the Daily Star quoted a source as saying.

The insider added: "But at Elton's party, she didn't want to come across like a stroppy diva, especially as it was for charity."

However, party girl Price apparently avoided confrontation this time.

A fellow party-goer said: "Kate and Victoria both knew the other was going to be there so it must have been a bit awkward.

"Everyone was expecting Kate to have a few too many and confront Victoria. In the end Posh dashed off to the other party." (ANI)
