'Gibson's pals sent him hookers to end his relationship with Grigorieva'

Actor Mel Gibson's pals once sent him hookers as they were desperate to end his relationship with his Russian ex girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva, it has been claimed.

Oksana's dad Petr Chernukha claimed that the film idol hit the beauty's 12-year-old son, Alexander.

Chernukha, 66, said his daughter's relationship with Gibson irritated the star's inner circle, so they sent him prostitutes to engineer a split.

Chernukha's allegations come as authorities investigate counter-claims that Oksana, 40, tried to extort cash from Gibson.

"They brought prostitutes for Mel to his office and even to their house when Oksana was away," the Sun quoted him as saying.

"Mel was openly jealous of Oksana's attention to her son. He hated Alexander and even hit him once. After that Oksana did her best to avoid them being together," he added.

A child custody dispute between the pair is also under way in court.

Oksana's dad said Gibson, 54, pushed her as she was holding her ten-month-old daughter Lucia - and threw a chair through a glass door.

LA cops have opened a domestic violence probe after Oksana taped Gibson allegedly threatening her.

However, officials have not decided whether to charge him. (ANI)
