Heartbroken widow of Patrick Swayze misses her hubby so miserably that she still sends romantic text messages on his phone.

Devoted Lisa Niemi told how she goes through the routine of sending him a message whenever she takes a plane, even almost a year after his death due to pancreatic cancer.

"I just put what I always did, 'I love you'. And then I cried for a little bit to myself. It (the message) didn't come back," the Mirror quoted her as saying just after she got off a recent flight.

"So either somewhere out there he received it, or someone's going, 'Somebody loves me!' And you know what? I figured it was a win-win situation," she added optimistically.

The actress also said that Patrick always wanted her to be OK and she is stronger now as she is coming to terms with 'Dirty Dancing' idol's death.

"The fact that I've had some good days definitely gives me hope that I can have more," she signs off. (ANI)
