Gerard Butler to play perverse leprechaun

    (IANS)

Scottish actor Gerard Butler is to play a foul-mouthed and perverse leprechaun in an upcoming comedy.

'I play the most perverse, disturbing, disgusting, foul-mouthed leprechaun you could ever imagine,' imdb.com quoted Butler as saying.

The 'Bounty Hunter' star, who is currently working on Shakespeare adaptation 'Coriolanus', reveals that the film is yet untitled.

He admits his role of a leprechaun is being treated with special technology and is funny.

'It's funny because we're using that technology from 'Benjamin Button' - what's the politically correct term? A little person? - and they're going to put my head onto a little person. It's very funny. It's insane,' Butler said.

The project is being led by 'Shallow Hal' director Peter Farrelly and stars Naomi Watts, Kate Winslet, Seann William Scott and Elizabeth Banks. The film is expected to release later this year.
